Simply put, it's finding ways to generate income or reduce your expenses from the house you own or the house you are currently renting.
If you own a home, its renting the suite downstairs, the extra bedrooms you're not using, the garage to a buddy, or the extra parking space for a friend's RV.
And If you are renting, instead of living in a one-bedroom suite, find a couple of friends and rent a 2/3/4 bedroom suite or an entire house, that way you share in all expenses, reducing your living costs.
And if you have a family, it’s finding an entire house to rent, where another couple or family could live with you in the house.
At the end of the day I realize these options aren’t flashy, there not exciting, and in most cases require some level of sacrifice, but when you fast forward a year or two and you have an extra $10,000 or $20,000 or even $30,000 in your bank.
You will wish you would have done this sooner.
